Mega_Armageddon_Chickens When I listen to Stars are Stars and I think how young they were and how new to their trade, it's like fucking hell. I couldn't have named the Bunnymen guitarist until tonight but yes he had some talent.

Foxy_Dread I like Crocodiles best out of their albums but I love that run of singles when they were in the charts. It might have been equalled but I’m not sure it’s ever been bettered.. Happy Death Men through the headphones is a bit good.

Never been a huge fan but they did make some beautiful songs. Ocean Rain probably my favourite. Old man played it to death.

Jon I get the impression there was a lot of friction in the band at the time and too much drugs. I still love it though. Sounds a bit skewwhif like it's coming from a weird, exotic place that you can't quite get your head around or pin down. Then again I think that about all their albums up to Ocean Rain. I couldn't name a favourite from them that wouldn't change the following week in all honesty.

I can play the first two albums all the way through and do regularly.
My mate roadied for them, did the Bluer Skies fanzine. Said at the time it was Mac and then the rest of the band with the rest of the band been a great bunch. He’s never said anything negative about Mac in fairness.
When we’re young we kind of have this idea of bands been like little gangs, I think. All mates living the dream. Time and time again it seems more like that’s not the case.

fuzzy Dead interesting bloke in his own right. Never really says too much, about them just mentioned it in conversation. Forward looking sort. Still discovering new bands at a rate I find hard to comprehend. Still enthusiastic.
