Not got involved with this but I’m with young Cooley in terms of the selections so far.
Havent rated one album as in the “essential “ bracket as yet.
The Human League one came close to be fair.
I may have misread the theme of the thread though.

I know the thread is called 'Essential Album Selecta' but i thought the aim of it was just for everyone to post more of a random album. I remember Wonderstuff's '8 Legged Groove Machine' being mentioned right at the start, even Harvest was going to post an album he's never heard ...

Definitely don't think my Stereolab choice is essential, very good yes but ...

Would be boring as well if it was just a list of 'essential albums'Pet Sounds, Stone Roses, Mick Head, Surrender, Stones and Beatles, etc . This way I've listened to random shit ( shit in a good way)
