Yes it is clinical.
In defence of the clinical I would say, compare renowned slow adapters Manchester United with poster boys of the analytical, Brentford and Brighton. Both owned by gambling/maths freaks.
We all have had XG type debates over the decades. "We should have won that, we had the better chances", "so and so is useless, he misses too many sitters".
If there is one thing we can all thank XG and associated developments for is they probably* helped drive the dinosaur managers, the "real" football men who were on the jobs merry-go round from the game.
