Good win, feeling confident in the playoffs ?

Bod if they play like they did today, anything is possible. But they've played 4 games in 8 days at 3 different grounds, 1 of which was a 480-mile round trip. And now have to play Wednesday and Saturday to make Wembley the following week......

Town make the playoffs. Due to play Altrincham on Wednesday. The club start arranging to sell tickets. Altrincham start selling tickets.
Gateshead fail to meet the entry to the EFL requirements of security of tenure for 10 years at the their ground in the event of promotion. Kicked out of the playoffs as a result.
Solihull Moors get a bye. Aldershot stay in 8th.
Fast forward a couple of hours and someone reads the rule book.
Instead of a trip over the border on the M62, we're now heading to the Midlands to play Solihull Moors. Good job I've got the day off that day.
Altrincham get a bye. Aldershot stay where they are.
Now Barnet away on Saturday if they win.

Loose_Lips Town are still in the playoffs.
The games were Solihull v Gateshead and Altrincham v Town. The winners to play Barnet and Bromley respectively at the weekend. Winners of those play at Wembley for promotion.
Turns out Gateshead couldn't get promoted if they won as they don't have a guarantee from their local authority that they can use the stadium for at least 10 years.
So they get booted out.
The first announcement said that Solihull would get a bye and that we'd still play Altrincham on Wednesday.
Fast forward a couple of hours and someone has literally bothered to read the rule book. Turns out we're now playing Solihull on Wednesday and Altrincham get the bye.
Club are fuming. They'd been making arrangements from the final whistle yesterday.

Another road trip. Eldest is leaving school early. The Mrs managed to word the email in such a way as to not lie, but also not actually say why.
The drive down will be made all the more interesting by the fact that a bottle of wine broke in the boot last night and has soaked into the carpet......
As for the game, they have nothing to lose. Nobody really expected them to get here. Play like they can and they can win. Barnet and then Wembley. Costing me a fortune in unleaded.

Love it. We've been super straight up about pulling our lad out of school. I guess we'll see the consequences but its a 'balanced' education...

Just got back. A game too far. They looked tired and second best.
Another season done. I still think about that first game of the season against Aldershot. I thought she'd enjoy it but I never imagined we'd find ourselves doing close to 1000 miles in 10 days following them.....
