Had Spain won the World Cup in Qatar, would he have behaved with the players in the same way? The answer is no, and that’s why his behaviour is unacceptable, and why he’s not fit for the role.

If he behaves like this in plain sight, I wonder what goes on behind the scenes…

Mitaman Utterly representative of the unhealthy spanish mother/son relationship that is ptevalent throughout Spain. I'm not surprised young women are angry as they have been marginalised in this way for many years.

Never lived there for any length of time, so was unaware at the molycoddlying and acceptance of shit attitudes.

Mitaman While the unhealthiness mother/son relationship is clearly an issue it is often reinforced by fathers whose son in their eyes can do nothing wrong. This in turn leads to the mother being frightened to contradict the son as he is protected by father and thus reinforces the spoiled brat situation. It is a recyclical thing and while it has been around for generations, now it is getting out of control. Spoiled brats are everywhere and are predominantly male. As young women are cast aside in the family they are becoming more rebellious and disdainful of male hegemony. It will be an interesting couple of generations for the ladies, as more of them turn to female support and friendship rather than traditional male couplings (the number of lesbian women taking IVF in Alicante for example is growing apace). It is already happening in the big cities, but the countryside is much further behind. There are exceptions though as girls are educated and migrate to the cities where they don't have to rely on 'campo man'.
