You are the only person in this thread to have used the term Holocaust. Everybody else has used the term genocide, probably to avoid accusations of anti-semitism, which are bandied about as soon as anyone criticises anything Jewish - this has got to the stage where the radicals in the Knesset have set themselves above criticism by applying this trope to anyone who dares to criticise them or their militarised state. There has been some use of common terms that were also used during the German genocide, but I would venture that this is due to ignorance of the use of those terms during that period in reference to the massacre of Jews and others. Your inference that the Jewish people have some kind of monopoly on suffering and victimhood is insulting and definitely not helpful.
The holocaust was one of the worst things to happen in modern history and must not be forgotten, but it wasn't the only genocide in the 20th century - Stalin's murder of some 26 million, Mao's 70 million, Franco's couple of hundred thousand all in so called peacetime, a million or so in Cambodia, ditto in Rwanda all using methods and purpose similar to Hitler but maybe not quite as efficient.
The main difference between these is not scale or methods (the purpose was the same in all cases, though the ideals behind it may be different), but the fact that the German genocide (and I call it that as Hitler murdered much more than Jews - Romany, mentally and physically disabled etc etc) and the subsequent events led to a conflict situation that has still not been resolved. The others have been resolved and people have moved on, although today new versions are appearing in the likes of Russia with the idiot KGB midget.
Using fire to fight fire just prolongs the agony. If the Jewish community are distressed maybe they need to take a long hard look in the mirror at what the Israeli government is doing in their name and put a stop to it (via the ballot box or legal means of course).
Semantic arguments over whether mass murder is genocide or not (it clearly is) just detracts from the core issues. The Orange cunt and his moronic supporters aren't helping by making it all about him. But there again neither is inaction across most of europe.
