Harvest same here, I got into them in a big way. Went to his grave, got american prayer, got interviews and stuff, bought the books, etc. The older I get the more I realise that Manzerak was a hype man in later years, but they were a very good band.
I used to know someone in '94ish that had seen them live in London, went to the US, saw them again, went to woodstock and caught all the big acts in LA & SF. It blew my mind, he seemed really old and was talking about stuff in black & white. Like someone who'd seen a unicorn or a zeppelin or something. Looking back he was about 45 yrs old, and it was the equivalent of someone talking nowadays about the SR's at spike island or happy mondays at ER or the hacienda or Brian Gayle's OG. 😆
