- Labour won’t do anything major to the fuck up that is Universal Credit.
- They won’t do much to the travesty that is our disability benefits system ( the travesty that they created).
- Sick pay will not increase to a liveable level.
- Housing will not get any more affordable or plentiful.
- Food prices won’t go down.
- The rivers will still be shitty.
- Boats will still arrive on beaches.
- Shop and factory workers will still be living hand to mouth.
- Law and Order will still be underfunded.
- Our relationship with the EU will not change significantly.
- The retirement age will still rise.
- Environmental targets will still be abandoned.
- No solutions to the homeless issue
- major rethink on the failed war on drugs - no decriminalisation or solutions to addiction.
I turned my Green voting Socialist Dreamer shopping list into bullet points and credit where it's due, if rumours are true, Keith is planning on a major revamp on the DWPs reign of terror on the old and infirm. I have provisionally ticked it off the list pending confirmation.
Also loving the rebranding now that Starmer keeps referring to Labour as "this changed Labour Party" to differentiate it from the old Labour Party - by that meaning "New Labour" as opposed to "The Labour Party".
