Placid saw some high up military bod talking at the weekend, saying when it was in place previously, with a far bigger army, there was loads of hanging around doing nothing, and he said it would be even worse if introduced now

Half of me sees the sense in National Service because I'm of the mind that Putin is going to attack the Baltic states, Poland or even a UK foreign territory before some Russian cunt eventually puts a bullet in his fucking psychotic skull. I hope I'm wrong but I think peacetime is coming to an end in Europe and one way or another we will need cunts with guns.

Everyone wants their country to have an Army but no one wants their own sons to be in it. That's human nature.
