Comprises of odds to finish first
Plus odds not to finish first but finish second
Plus odds to win the play off
So approx 50% to win it.
Say 70% of the remaining 50% to finish second = 35%
Then say 50% of the remaining 15% = 7.5%
A total of 92.5% to be promoted.
That equals odds of 1/12.5
I've just estimated two of the percentages, but if independent and not anticipating a collapse, I would say 1/14 isn't a mile out.
