Anchor fuzzy This the content we need and demand. I'm in a pickle here. What I mean to say is we need a chutney thread and more puns.
Flaneur I was looking for that repair thread that @Reggie_Perrin started, to put this in. Mind you, it's more of a build, than a repair. One for @space maybe? Once I clicked play, I had to see it through to the end:
space Flaneur I did start work on using a PC with a watercooler whos cooling array was in a fish tank so you could regulate the temperature of the fishtank with the amount of processing being fed into the CPU. I wanted to mount the monitor behind the fish tank. Then I got married.
Foxy_Dread Stock market wallah. Have you considered the likelihood of tariffs and their impact on the markets? What is the likelihood of a crash?
space Foxy_Dread I've lost a few grand on my tech stocks but I have a large lump on a gold producer and subsequently any day that Trump says something stupid he makes me another grand or two.. I'm £7000 up this week alone. After the apocalypse I'll be the richest man in this part of the desert.
space Foxy_Dread What is the likelihood of a crash? To address the question... There are some people saying that there is going to be a crisis starting with paper gold versus physical gold supplies. The Bank of England has been caught out this last week after being presented with requests for gold that they owe and don't have. Rumours have been around for decades that Fort Knox has nowhere near the amount of gold that they say they have - a lot of it held for other countries. With nation states and large banks buying physical gold it's heading towards a tipping point where there will be massive inflation in it's value and this is going to send waves out into the world of fiat currencies. Not sure how it will play out but having some real gold sovereigns under the floor boards might be a good idea about now.
space I wonder if all the gold reset will take to begin is some twat with a twitter account being given too much power. 'It would be great if Elon Musk could take a look inside Fort Knox just to make sure the 4,580 tons of US gold is there,' the libertarian Zero Hedge news aggregator account posted to X. 'Last time anyone looked was 50 years ago in 1974.' https://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/other/elon-musk-now-sets-his-sights-on-audit-of-u-s-gold-reserves/ar-AA1zarQV?ocid=msedgntp&pc=U531&cvid=4e0601fccba54fabcb5eefab82cfd938&ei=41
EEPW why does this news report mention "human remains found on motorway". and not just "body" or "accident victim" or something else? Human Remains to me are associated with serial killers or bodies found after weeks buried in a the wild. bizarre? or is it me? is it just Sky sensationalist reporting ? (its not even reported on BBC anywhere) as you were https://news.sky.com/story/two-motorways-closed-after-human-remains-found-13315303

zico Cost me £20 the Geordies winning a trophy before us, Championship didn't count. Bet made well over 10 years ago. Anyway, I don't want to put anyone off their tea, but right now in a dark corner of Wembley stadium I can't help but imagine Peter Beardsley is wanking off Alan Shearer.
