Biden was never going to be the leader they want, and unfortunately Harris is like the last clutch of the democrat's straw. The macho mentality in the US is still not ready for a female president, which for me is why she lost. Any talk of policies was incidental.

But the vast majority of them are thick as shit with no knowledge of politics, democracy, history or the world outside their window. It's not about hearts and minds because they have neither.

They also appear to occupy a fairly unique position amongst populations as you can describe them in this way and nobody will pull you for it. Try doing that about almost any other country (well, apart from Israel and Russia) and see the response you get.
For a country where the vast majority are 'as thick as shit' they do seem to do well at dominating the modern world militarily, culturally and economically. That handful of bright ones really put in a shift.

The female president, definitely an issue with Americans. They only really care about the Dollars in their pocket, like Jon said the price of gas. 75 % wouldn't know they have a foreign policy, never mind what it is.
They haven't got a good track record for great leaders. All them through the 50s and up to 9/11 .focused on fighting communism around Asia and South America and nothing else.

Please note, my labelling of americans is by no means limited to americans. I can include the dutch (Wilders), hungarians (Orban), Italians (Meloni, Berlusconi), Russians (Putin), Belorussians (Lukaschenko), Spanish (PP, Vox), turks (Erdogan), Indians (Modi), Argentinians (Milei), Georgians, Slovakians, East Germans, Austrians and of course britons (Cameron, Johnson, May, in fact all tories for ever) in my definition of thick idiots. Whatever else Trump is, the most worrying thing he is, is dangerous. He’s already said that if Russia fancied having at go at the UK or the rest of the continent of Europe, he wouldn’t deploy American resources to help. Just stop and think about that.
