EEPW She didn't even win her own state when she ran in 2020. She's 75. We need to get away from pensioners running things. Trump made a mockery of her claims she has Native American ancestry. She may have such ancestry, DNA testing suggested she may, several generations back, but that's not how it works. She lost a lot of credibility when she took the DNA test and announced the results. Trump labelled her Pocahontas. Undoubtedly a smart woman but do you think the vast majority of Trump voters vote for him because they think he's smart?

Who achieves that? Walz recently hinted he would run? Really? We're a long way from 2028 but it'll take something for people like Andy Beshear or Ruben Gallego to become credible by then.
The Hill recently said this about 'AOC'...'Ocasio-Cortez is simply the most exciting figure in Democratic politics. Yes, she has a legion of detractors. But she also has charisma, authenticity and the ability to draw huge crowds to see her speak.' The Republicans would love her to run.
Whether it's Shapiro. Newsom, someone needs to read the room when it comes to America.
I like Pritzker, but that's probably because he looks like he should have his own sit-com....

Electability seems to have very little to do with intellect, not just here but world wide.

There are republicans who are more palatable and intelligent than him but that doesn’t seem to be what the electorate want.

Trump (or his vindictive advisor squad) picked up on it and fuelled the MAGA morons and Fox news and pretty much ruined her for the rest of the electorate. He has done that with a few and seems to have the measure of democrats. Biden, Clinton (H), and even (to a lesser extent) Harris have all been victims to this type of Goebels rabble rousing. Unfortunately there are very few politicians who are clean enough to rise above this type of childish name calling and the Maga morons will always jump on the great Trump bandwagon.

This plus the credit downgrade has taken the US over the edge of the debt spiral - according to some. They really need to do something drastic and soon to get a grip on this shit, but can anyone see that happening?

Incidentally, my gold producer shares were up £4K this morning. I feel dirty, but I might actually be able to afford to retire if this cunt crashes the fiat currencies.

Yeah. I spent £4000 on them. Eventually turned a profit and sold at £5000 because I had to sell up to finance wifeys new business. That would have been worth about £33000 now if I could have kept them. But on the plus side my wife has a new business which I refer to as her very expensive hobby. She's more expensive than the cocaine addict I lived with in the 90s.

On the plus, since Trump took office I've made up whatever I lost out on on RR on Gold. At this rate I might be able to retire when I'm 70.
