Placid Hunt:s contribution made sense if Trump is someone you can work with, if Trump is someone you can trust, if the new US administration is going to operate like the 2016 version.
There are very strong signals that things have changed in America and I don't think Hunt went anywhere near the implications arising from any such changes.
It's easier to disregard the changes I think we are seeing in America if they aren't too far removed from your own world view. That's not to say Hunt is supportive but there was nothing in that broadcast to suggest he has any real concerns.
Bridget lady, touched upon the US wanting a share of the Ukraine's minerals but they didn't seem say if they think that had any wider implications.
I may have missed some nuances in the programme but if not I'd think the above is a fair take on it.
