Jury duty? Wow!
It's not for the feint hearted for sure. Like I say, I have utmost respect for the professionals that work in that industry and service to our community. With all their detractors and moaners in the press and socials, the police the cps and the legal profession do a sterling job.
After 2 weeks of depravity, sadness, neglect and exposure to the underbelly of society I was glad to get back to my own trials an tribulations which didn't seem so bad.
Case 1
A man accused of 6 indictments.
2 taking pics of a minor
1 possession of pics of a minor
1 touching a minor
2 raping a minor..
What a charmer this loser was. Complete white trash mouth breathing parasite on society, rundown council house in Mirfield but still had 55" telly, xbox and an Iphone.
Nonced his daughter. We sent him to prison the twat!
Case 2
A man accused of preparing to sexually abuse a minor..
Drunken man at his mates house goes for a piss in toilet and pretends to go to sleep on the kids bed teasing them, but does fall asleep as so drunk. He's there for less than 2 minutes doesn't touch anyone, doesn't take his clothes off or even get under the covers.
The Dad takes him home make sure he gets in the house safe, nothing more is made of it.
Because the kids mentioned it as school laughing about it and a teacher heard, the teacher had to report to social services, the ball stars rolling and this working man who made a drunken stupid harmless decision is stood in crown court potentially getting labelled as a nonce.
We found him not guilty. To be honest I don't even think the prosecutor believed his case against him. What a wast of time and money all round.
