Bit mad that these trad IPA's advertised as hoppy but you can barely taste it now after being spoiled with all these ponce cans of DIPA and that.

SardineTree I can only assume that it's probably like many other "craft beers" charging rip-off prices - in that it doesn't just contain water, malted grains, hops and yeast (ingredients costing a few pence), and having a beer tax applied (approx 12 pence per 1% abv) like normal beers, but copious quantities of magical ingredients like fairies' tears and unicorn piss - items which definitely do not come cheap.

Tolley Hops are not cheap and when you are triple hopping stuff and sourcing mad yeasts to add to flavour then prices will skyrocket. That is not to say some take the piss. I was in a pub in Sheffield Saturday and they were selling Cloudwater at £9 a 440ml tin. So the bar taking the piss. They had a pint of magic rock something at 8% for £11. Jokes. When Vocation can make and sell Love and Hate at £3 a can at 7.2% then you do feel some are ripping you off.

M&S are selling the Earl Grey pale, Grapefruit IPA and Blood Orange Wheat made by Adnams for 40p a can and part of the 4 for 3 offer. I got 12 cans Sunday for £3.60. Win!

Tesco are changing their ponce ale selection on thr 1st of April - some really interesting looking ales coming up.

Tesco also getting three different Magic Rock beers - two IPAs and a NEIPA. Cripes!!!

Aldi have some new ponce stuff in as well.

The hop foundry which looks like their own brewed stuff ala the llidl hatherwood stuff. Plus a brewed for them Grapefruit IPA by William Bros or what ever they are called from Scotland.

I am happy to report the Grapefruit IPA is fucking lush - easily as good as Elvis juice and Twisted Grapefruit. At 5.5% it is also cracking on an empty stomach of a friday after work.

I had the other two - a triple hopped pale - Meh and an orange infused IPA - OK - but at £1.29 a can it is priced properlly. Will definitly have the orange and grapefruit again. In fact I will stock pile the grapefruit it is that nice.

Just got a can of each of the craft beers the local Aldi had. £1.29 each.

First up was Ghost Dance Chinook Pale Ale.. I can report that it's bloody nice. Strong but not over-powering flavour. I wish I'd bought more than one.

Unbarred x Hopstuff Grapfruit NEIPA from the new stuff at Tesco - some were available on Sunday so I tried a few. Lovley.

Offff - does not taste like a 7.4% at all - dangerous stuff and the main reason I feel like death today.

A few 6.5 and 7.4% cans on a Sunday night. Is that not street drinker numbers? May be posh drinks but your liver can't tell the difference between that and White Lightning. Too much for me that.

Harvest The older I get the stronger (and darker) I like my beer. Quite happy to nurse a bottle of 10% stout or porter over the course of an evening at home.

There’s also the added benefit of less bladder action.

I've not done it for a while and do not miss the feeling at all.
