Only Leeds fans would think swapping a 19 goal 23 year old for a 27 year old who hasn't done it properly in the Championship yet is a good deal.....Or Warnock!

I'd take that. He's a better player, Craig Levien thinks so too.

And that is a good thing is it......? Craig Levien is Kenny Jackett standard in my book.

Oh,I don't know...some Leeds fans seem to rate Lonergan as better than Kenny!!

As for Mackail-Smith,good player but better playing with McCormack rather than as his replacement.

Also,I'm no Warnob fan,but isn't it Mccormack that's refused the new deal?...how's that Colins fault then?,might as well cash in and use him as bait for someone else!

Quite. Warnock wants contracted men not loanees or people running their deals down. Maybe he thinks you don't get 100% out of them and I think I'd agree with that.

White to Derby! What message about the Bates era and Warnock's attutude to quality and young players does that send? And as is the case with McC and Snodgrass, the reason players turn down deals are a) money and b) the manager, could be both in the three cases mentioned.....

Foxy_Dread

I think if the manager was the issue Snodgrass would have made it clear that he was going by now, he seems a little unsure.

Aidy White off to Derby today for £500k according to NewsNow/Daily Star.

Very surprising move as their business model is not a million miles off ours and I don't see them offering much more in wages.

Allegedly the offer from Leeds was 4 years on the same money as now. (£4k I believe).

Don't think that he'll beat it by miles, but it looks like a point of principle rather than anything else.

Few good games at the beginning of last year and people were screaming that Bates wasn't offering him a better contract and that it was a disgrace... After that he looked no more a left back than, well anyone. A no nonsense LB would suit me fine, in fact I'd take Ian Harte back over him.
500K ... result.

You know he'll come back and haunt us. Like all those other full backs over the years.

500k is a result for White.

Sounds good but we'll definitely have to get El Hadj Diouf just to make Marlon look like St Theresa.

I'm starting to think Colin robbed your house and shat in your kettle while wearing a Liverpool shirt!

Reggie Perrin wroteLad called Rodolph Austin, Jamaican International midfielder playing for SK Brann is rumoured to interesting NW. Looks solid enough from the stats, Norway is not a leaguee for the faint hearted and they have already played 10 competetive games so he will be spitting fire from day one.

I like the sound of this one.

Some out of work ex-Cov, ex-England U21 LB called Cranie also training with us.

Austin's combative style does make him probe to disciplinary problems, in 11 games for Brann this season he has picked up 5 yellow cards and one red!

They always said you had to kick your way out of this league.
