Saw it. They have the same pass the parcel approach in all their other dealings, inter company transfers, new companies with mortgages to create asset and cash flows. Even if the old bastard isn't involved, and they did actually front up some cash to him - it essentially the same operation just with monkeys as opposed to an organ grinder.

How the fuck does the Football League/FA/UK government let shit like this happen? It's mind-boggling. Any other half-decent developed country (France, Germany, US, plenty of others) would never let their national sports industry be so unregulated and slowly decimated by chancers, criminals, human rights abusers, and general dodgy cunts. I'm still just praying for one of the big clubs at the top to go tits up, that might wake a few. Or maybe not.

I suspect the money has come from the 'mortgage' from last week.
However, Bad Santa has now left the building (with the ST money) and GFH are left with having sold the same amount of STs at the, much clamoured for, reduced rate. Therefore even more out of pocket.
No they aren't going to make us like Man Citeh, but it does look more positive than it did in January.

Needs to let it all run through to September before we know for sure but for what its worth, the mortgage last week wasn't any new it was rearranging the financing - and this new lad if we sign him is financed on terms repaid through player sales.
And to be honest if they balance the books, don't skim off the top and just run the club at break even - they will spend a lot more on the team than the previous.
Couple of things are a big worry: Harvey still there, suggests old regime still in place and the fact that the game has changed already with McD saying the same as Colin - early signings and then have to replan also suggests 'as you were'
But I really hope that they do run the club properly while they are trying to sell it.
He's no longer CEO - so I take that back.

I'd take it without the loan back. £8m for him is good business given what we need to add to the team.

ideally we should be looking to keep talent like Byram,but he alone ain,t gonna get us promoted (if that,s the aim!)
So yes,anything around 8m has to be considered and don,t forget McD has had to sell some of his big players at Reading previously and replaced well.

I would. Peltier is plenty good enough at RB for this league. Played out of position last year as Byram got ahead of him. Decent lad, plenty of heart and I think with him and Warnock we have capable FB's up there with anything in this league and some backuop in Drury and the kids.
Got to sort out GK, be it Federicci, Ashdown or keeping Paddy.
Got to sort out CB pairing, Lees, Pearce, Mills?, We need bodies in there.
Midfield needs some pace.
Strikers again we need bodies and options so Matt Smith is a start.
