What's the alternative?....don't spend and then we all moan because we're cheap skating again?Seems to me we've been quite shrewd in the market this summer,no exorbitant fees for big time Charlie's and we've also brought young lads in to shore up the under 23 squad.All looks part of a bigger plan by AR.In terms of balancing the books,wasn't buying the ground back part of that scheme?An end to silly and ever increasing rent payments and being at the behest of a Landlord who could pull the plug at anytime.He seems to be leaving no stone unturned.I'd say there's more reason for optimism than pessimism just now.That could all change of course and usually does where Leeds are concerned.

6.5k more seasons tickets sold than this time last year, at £600 a pop thats an extra £4m of income - i'd hope the corporate stuff would be increasing as well -then there's the real feel good fell factor thats coming (Bolton away game - on sky, on a sunday aftie in august with no trains running sold out 4,000 tickets in 15 mins) catering income now ours and no stupid fees paid out as far as i can see and no rent as mentioned, must be worth £10m at least with no one creaming off the top and no more court cases.The futures bright, the futures Leeds

New guy deserves a chance. He's put his money where his mouth is and, while we don't really know much about any of these new signings, it's a bit unrealistic to think he'd go buy a load of English players. I doubt we'll have as good as season as last year but long term things look good. I also think it will never be as hard to find a buyer again as it was to find AR. I mean, what did he really buy from Cellino? At least now there's tangible assets and a solid fan base pumping money in as said above. No trains to Bolton on a Sunday?

Can't help but feel we have a plan C in place rven though plan A is unlikely this season. I'm good with that.Two days after renewing my season ticket Monk left. Nearly cancelled it for a few days after. Seems that would have been rash now.
