Respect to Wood for for not putting a transfer request in yet, normally that's the first thing to pop up and the club has no room to negotiate. That being said the window is not closed yet. 20m for him, not sure how I feel about that? Was he a one season wonder? Will he bang them in again? Sure hope so. Glad we no longer need the money and have sent the right message to the market after being a feeder club for so long...

I suspect that Wood will give this season a go to see if promotion is a possibility. He's probably looked at the likes of Saiz, Ekuban and Alioski and thought it might just happen this time.Reckon he'll fuck off it if doesn't happen, though.
