I heard in April he was at the centre of the dressing room split that was driving Phillips to leave and destabilising the run in. He allegedly punched a player at HT and is the big I.am. I'd speculate Phillips staying is conditional on PJ going. If he's trouble he'll go for whatever the market says he's worth,,,like Cantona. My worry is that Cooper is fragile and we've let two young cBs with 1st team experience go. the brighton Kid looks about 14. We need a bully.

Strange indeed but that perhaps implies a lot of the more fancied clubs didn't fancy him and the baggage that comes with him.
Depends how you view it but the glass half full version is that we've moved out a disruptive influence and have 5.5 million for the privilege.

I like him, and he is a Swedish international and played in the world cup. 5 million will be an absolute disgrace if he goes for that! Scum couldn't even get Maguire for 70 million and the difference in quality between them two is not that great.

If he goes then we will need two new centre halves as Cooper and Beradi are liabilities. Why did they sell Halme if they were going to get rid of Pontus? It makes no sense at all.
