Jon £30m seems like overpaying taken to the extreme. He’s not exactly been ripping up mature trees since they signed him. You’d have to think Bielsa is rock solid in his belief he can work his magic with James. Still,£30m? I don’t see how Ralph is wasted on the wing. He kind of wanders around the pitch anyway. He might be a better ten than the others but that doesn’t equate to wasted on the wing for me. Got to think if there’s £30m in the kitty there’s a CM out there who could do a job for us.
Bod Jon it looks like that is the going price now for these type of players, look at Willock, Newcastle, Buendina, Watkins, both Championship players, you might get a good deal from a foreign club, Raphinha, but English clubs, this is the price.
Bod You have to remember with James, he has premiership experience at a big club, European games and international experience. I think he was swamped with a lot of very good players at Man U and his talents weren't really shown and coming to Leeds will be better for him, with guidance from Bielsa and playing in a much more close knit team he will suit leeds style of play with his pace.
Jon Bod I’ve read that twice and still don’t understand what you are trying to say. He can’t play with good players? My point is we have good wingers, we’re weak in the middle. The club have said repeatedly that there’s money for the right player but not to expect any major signings after Firpo unless the right player at the right price becomes available. If £30m is the going rate so be it. But I find it hard to believe there isn’t a player out there identified by Orta and Co. who could fill a more urgent gap for us for comparable money. In short. Another winger? What about a defensive central midfielder?

Bod Jon I meant he is not as technically gifted as the better players in Man u, Pogba, Bruno, Shaw and that is why his end product isn't as good, but that is probably down to his age and experience, which will come

Jon MDF I think Dallas is PL level. For how long who knows? He can only play in one position at a time though, sadly. If Koch doesn’t start at least fairly regularly I wonder how long he will be happy with that? Llorente and Strujik for me, based on what I’ve seen of our CBS.
