Foxy_Dread I'm also not sure about Raphinha being asked to play midfield. We've had enough of that with Rodrigo out of position.
He likes two players available for every position. As wingers we now have James, Harrison, Raphinha, Costa, Summerville and McCarron. Costa's out of favour so it's down to form and fitness for the first choice three and the other two chomping at the bit.
In midfield we have Rodrigo (mmm?), Klich, Phillips, Forshaw, Koch (not his position), Shackleton if required, Dallas, Bate and Geldhart. We seem to have options but not a McCallister that everyone seems to want.
It's difficult keeping players, fans, the board and everyone else happy. I don't think we're far off and I think the break's come at a good time in terms of reassessment. A new signing, a home game and undefeated in two, we should be able to hit the ground running.
