Yes good luck to him. He has conducted himself well in my opinion. The stories of him signing for Chelsea probably helped to focus Barcelona's mind and signalled to them that they had to find the money if they wanted to sign him, He wasn't going to tantrum to the detriment of Leeds. Although World Cup year would be a bad time to down tools.

I'd be very surprised if Barcelona will pay this for Raphinha, they will offer less, they are in a right mess financially, they still owe money for past transfers, haven't been paying players wages and can't register players. This could drag on for a while, they need to sell him now or his value will drop come January

Reggie_Perrin And they're still think they can have their cake and eat it! They want to re-sign Dembele for nothing on half the wages he was on. They still want Lewandowski from Bayern and they want Rapha from us, whilst still owing millions in salaries and transfer fees. You couldn't make it up!

Chopper_Read Odd thing is that the 'other lot' in Madrid were in the same boat but have somehow managed to hush it all up.. Even with the astronomical wages and transfer fees given the amount both teams make it an extraordinary feat of shit accounting and mismangement to end up in that kind of debt. Makes Ridsdale look like an amateur and at least he had ITV digital to blame.
