Raposa I think you've misunderstood my point. I'm not critical of the signing, I'm curious of how they all get game time. One forward in the first team, one in the u21s. Four very talented youngsters, Bamford and Rodrigo fighting for these places. Add In the two 10 spots which won't suit most of the six and it's still a squeeze. That was my point.

I was against paying a lot for a Bamford understudy, not against buying someone believed to be better.

Raposa I don't know the answer to this but what sort of front man does a Red Bull style team suit? Is it a Bamford type or something different.

As to how much, it depends on too many things but I would think 20m and some decent scouting would do it. You'd be taking a chance on someone who still had a bit to prove but Bamford has something to prove after last season.

I think the Board have got drunk on the Rapha model.

Pull someone in destined for big things but slightly unknown, offer them their 2nd club and some shop window in the Prem, they blow the league up, but do a job for us. keep the fans happy, so can go with a blessing at x3 cost 2 seasons in with us.

They(ll find the money for another Rapha, all day long, but we're only really borrowing them, they're not ours..

The Belgian and Gakpo we're these kinda deals, but in reality how many times will we find a Rapha, really?

De Ketelaere can play in numerous positions across the front line that's why Leeds were so keen on buying him, he's very versatile and that's what forwards are now, gone are the days where you had a striker who would be in the box just to score the goals. He would have been at Leeds for a couple of years then sold on, Leeds are just a stepping stone for these type of players, as in Raph. I can see Leeds going in for Gakpo in January, another versatile player

When I've seen him play for Leeds and the u21s I've always been vaguely disappointed but this is in part due to the rave reviews he had in the Championship .

However I would have liked to have seen him given a proper chance rather than sign Kristiansen or get the odd game every now and then.
