It's not the end of the world, we had a great player who was going to get niggly fouled out of games. Teams were able to nullify him we saw this in multiple games last season. Sadly there is some sense to this, the timing isn't great but we got a good price for him in terms of FFP.

I wish referees would protect him in which case it would hurt to lose him. I'm pleased for him, he is a lovely lad who deserves to play for a forward thinking club.

It's no use blaming the owners for not buying players in, obviously they are looking to get some in, no way can they afford or will want another season in the championship. If suitable players aren't available or they keep getting priced out by clubs eg Clarke 20+ million, Rowe 15+, why spend that on one player when they need 3+ players in.
