😅 I see that now. But my "cant see" is more at the actual transfer.

Loose_Lips

I'm glad none of us are in the data team at Leeds as we would be relegated already after this chat.

Jesus christ 😂

YoungParisian_inExile

Players to sign:
Cooper - Blunts - GK
Davis - Ipswich - LB
Kalvin Klein - CB/DM
Ferguson - B+H - CF
Maeda- Celtic - CF
+
Cheeky bid for Gilmour

that mix is guaranteed to send us down by Xmas

CharlieG

YoungParisian_inExile You need a CB/DM and LB that is quick and can tackle.
The aforementioned fall down on one or both of those attributes. The rest of the list is grand, however.

Jon

If we have £100m to spend the payments are spread throughout the length of the contracts so how much can we actually spend?

Foxy_Dread

Jon I think, so this is tentative....

100m.

im guessing this estimated 100m is built around an assumed typical four year contract.

If we give them 8 years and the Chelsea loophole hasn't been closed then 200m.

EEPW

Jon 100m assumes no outgoings as its a net spend. Plus 100 mill goes a hell of a long way in regards to PSR. a 20 million player with payments spread over 4 years would only impact PSR this year by 5 mill. in effect we could spend up to 400 million ( we wont obvs) and still be within PSR rules this year. we would be fucked for buying players for the next 4 years though! i reckon we will spend between 100 and 150 this year depending on outgoings.

You need to factor in wages

CharlieG

We're not going to sign anyone in this mini window, are we?

I’ve seen some articles in the last few days stating that if we were to sign anyone before June 30th (i.e. in the current window) it’d be worse for us financially than if we waited until the window proper opens as that coincides with a new PSR year

CharlieG

oneallanclarke ....which makes sense.

Got told the same last week.
July 3rd was mentioned and apparently a couple of deals have been agreed.

Could be bollocks of course as I don’t really understand this PSR thing, more so when a club with the biggest debt in British football are agreeing deals of plus 60m for new signings left right and centre.

Djpekingman

Raposa One rule for Citeh, Scum and Chelski scum, another the rest of us have to abide by. Same with Barca and RM in Spain. Although they do seem to have recently hit Barca. Not that you'd notice, watching the comings and goings and the money being bandied about.

Reggie_Perrin

Reported we have agreed terms for this lad

king_of_the_slums

Reggie_Perrin This looks a good signing if true, him and Rodon frees up Amps to play pivot / DM and pushes Tanaka up into his natural position, which is similar to where / how Klich played, inside left CM / AM. People who have seen him play; apparently a bit of a beast, but can sometimes make the wrong calls or can be turned, but at this price, we can assume he's not Cooper. Working alongside Rodon with Amps in front of him should help with that issue.

Beto, Muniz, Hamer, Bijol & Pope seem to be the ones heavily linked right now. Rumours of agreements made not going away, ready to pull the trigger on July 4th. Gonna be a big Friday that..
