The problem with agents is they MAY have a gem who is is the next big thing...or they may just want to screw every last penny from a club. The insanity is that deals could be done without them if clubs stood up to them - I hope SG does what he can. I remember the George Graham/Runne Haag incident, then 3 years later when GG is 'rehabilitating' at Leeds, he was STILL using him and he was down at ER in plain sight. Football as a business, is bent... and because of what it offers - fame and cash -it attracts people like Bates, Sullivan, the Glazers, I could go on; but that doesn't mean you have to take it. I hope SG tells them to fuck off, but at the back of their minds they'll be wondering of Mcormack is the next Beckford, so theuu 'll ignore the agent.
