Ross McCormack?? http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12876_6331982,00.html
Scored a lot of goals for Cardiff. 25 in 73 acc to Wikipedia.
Fee agreed with Blueturds. Here for medical and to discuss personal terms apparently.
That's fucked that one then. He won't play for £50 in his boots, a box of Haribo and an old Ford Escort.

Any road up, i thought SG was waitign for all the Prem squads to be announced and he was going to pick up loads of top players? Not knockign this one though I think McCormack is a good signing and a victim of Cardiff's splurge.
john_charles_is_god
Yes..there's a bit of a fuss about us letting him go.He was very popular and a nice lad.Plus, a nippy little player. He'll give you goals and assists too.
Reggie_Perrin
He would give us a choice of 4 decent forwards but I can't see any point in adding to that, 4 is enough with Snods and Gradel as back up.Grella needs to get out of Leeds for his own sake. SG clearly doesn't fancy him and he needs games.

Re agents' having a field day...can anyone explain why the buying and selling of a player can't be handled club to club...eg: grayson pick up phone to Dave Jones 'we wany Mcormick £1m + 200k addons, 12k rising to 15k if he gets 25 goals. whaddya say? By the way we don't pay agents fees.' Instead it's Willie Mackay, shady agent looking to squeeze another 100k out of us; It's not 2001 you know

And would you trust a chairmen to be fair to a player or to pay what he's worth? Players are generally quite dim and so they need someone who they trust to get them the best deal. Course it's all gone mad as fuck has football, and agents are often slimy bastards by the looks of it all, but they do a great job for a lot of the players. The game's rotten as fuck and agents and chairmen and directors and maybe even some managers, are main reasons for it I think.

James Milner doesn't have an agent, uses the PFA. Wish more players would.

Fucking diamond that lad, good honest pro who always gives 110, strong, pretty quick, skilful, can score, pass, picks the right option, and doesn't seem to have his head turned by any of the glitz and shite - proper Yorkshireman. He will get better and better, and look more and more like Desperate Dan - seen the jaw on him. Bet he punches horses for fun but doesn't give a fuck how many cheeses there are in the world. The fact that he doesn't use an agent is outstanding but fits with his character. He's the only player I really regret losing in the crash, not one of the others have done owt - Lennon is the only one who comes close and he's just a better version of Wright-Phillips, good one in every seven games. Some Citeh fan over here was moaning about getting rid of Ireland for Milner, daft twat.

Seems Cardiff can sell McCormack as they are about to buy Andy Keogh Who gave them money for the pot to piss in?I'm sure it will all be undisclosed but I would wager that Keogh will be more expensive, no?

Every clubs has opaque finances one way or another. Cardiff are funded and running a business that hasn't failed its no worse than any other business in managing cashflow. The double standards kill me. This is from the Said and Done column in the guardian.http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/aug/22/said-and-done-greg-clarke
Principles: abidingMan of the week: League chairman Greg Clarke - says Cardiff signing Craig Bellamy despite winding-up orders over unpaid tax and their £30m debt "threatens the integrity of competition". "People should only take on liabilities they can meet. I have an abiding principle: people in business and in personal lives should always pay their debts." 2002: Leicester chairman Greg Clarke puts the club into administration with debts of £50m after "a lack of agreement between creditors". The result: a new consortium raises £5m, pays £1.25m for the assets and uses the rest as working capital. Among the write-offs: £6m in unpaid tax and £4,415 owed to St John Ambulance. Clarke, part of the new consortium, told the press: "This will leave Leicester a lot stronger."
