You'd argue that was the ideal time to sell, especially given he now has only one year left on contract. But how do you sell someone who won't leave?
I always argue that we're useless at getting decent fees when selling, so would be hypocritical to knock the club on this. Bear in mind, only the club knows how much demand there is for him. Given Josh Sargent recently went for £20m... I'd hold out for £15m up front, rising to £18m with add-ons to ease a deal through.
I wouldn't be surprised if West Ham come in for him, they've been trying and failing to get Troy Parrott.
