Depends where they would rather be and if they preferred Grayson to Holloway. Can't answer that but if he signs and Johnson goes then fair do's. also Kilkenny to go and Nunez to step up. Grella has to go, there 4 strikers and two stand in striker / wingers ahead of him. Would not make the reserve team.

Higgs and Naylor gone so as has been said, Paddy must be looking promising and Lees has impressed on loan.

Nobbo has a contact extension just covering pre season...if he pulls through they'll extend it. It's seems harsh but it's taken 14months to comeback and I can't think of another player who was better or faster after an achilles...sounds like a favour deal.

Think you are probably right. You can't spend over half your contract ont he Pan n Mick then expect a new shiny one. I think he's got a slim chance and maybe just to put himself in position for a move. I bet it's a shit short term contract knowing Bates.

If Blackpool come down - and I hope they don't because they have a sustainable wage bill which means they have no need to sell - the only ones they lose are people like Adams who've been tapped already for a premiership side.

West Haam fucked by sound of it:

West Ham's co-owner David Sullivan said today that he and David Gold are likely to have to inject loans of £20m-£40m to keep the club in business should they be relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season. The club is already carrying about £80m of debt and although the co-chairmen have said they will sell heavily from the first-team squad, Sullivan believes the departures of most international players will not be enough to satisfy the banks.

Sullivan went further and said that in his opinion West Ham United's financial position was the worst in English football.

"The fans should know this club is in a worse financial position than any other in the country," Sullivan told the Evening Standard. "All the debts are football or bank debts secured on the stadium and training ground so there is no route via administration. West Ham really is a club where the football and bank debts exceed the value of the club.

it was supposed to be nailed on him coming in 2002...bottled and re signed. He'd be good but he's still got prem aspirations I believe. Sean davis - didn't get rave reviews last year?
