January is desperation time isn't it. So you get top whack for anyone in demand.
For sure it says we're not making a run to try and get promotion this season - compare with the rhetoric when the Beckford situation happened.
Could be that players in demand will force a sale as they'll recognise it, so Lees. Clayton, Snodgrass, MCCormack all could be gone in the next few weeks as we 'rebuild' for next season.
Just sayin' like.
And Grayson is either part of all that or will be a lame duck as bates won't want to pay him off

Good question, personal POV is irrelevant, but the club allegedly can't afford a pay off so maybe bates and harvey are trying to force Grayson out. All depends on how SG feels about this. I am fucked off about this as I think Howson still has a lot of potential, but he's not up there with Sheridan leaving that time.

Never been a fan of Howson and a captain he certainly aint! Having said that under a decent manager played in the right position he could flourish.

He has frustrated me in games , but no denying he has a good all round game.The ball to Beckford at o t , goals he's scored .
