Yes, he's nearing the end of his career, but you have acquired a fine player imho. Reliable, good tackler, comfortable on the ball, able to go forward. I rarely saw him have an off day for us.
While you're at it, why not get Colin to go in for Zak Whitbread? He's looking for another club. But you might have to pay his speeding tickets too.
Before you all die laughing, Stephen Fry is no prawn-sandwich pretender--he grew up in Booton, a small village about 15 miles north of Norwich. Other than he, this tiny place has produced two literary vicars, one 19th-century, the other in the 1960s. Believe me, this stuff is true :)
