Yes, he's nearing the end of his career, but you have acquired a fine player imho. Reliable, good tackler, comfortable on the ball, able to go forward. I rarely saw him have an off day for us.

While you're at it, why not get Colin to go in for Zak Whitbread? He's looking for another club. But you might have to pay his speeding tickets too.

My mate Bruddy who's dad wrote books dahl type kids books He was from a village just out side Norwich one pub & a couple of houses May have been a church not much else though The whole family were quite eccentric his mum was 20th in line for the throne of England & his dad had played football for Chelsea been in 3 different countries armed forces numerous, wifes kids etc last time i was down there which was a while ago they had a party wher ethe family smashed their own house up The furniture was just about nailed together from the last party before .My mates brothers Progals became an actor & sam i think had trails for Arsenal

What i remember is the village one pub on the left hand side white exterior i think? .My mates house old farmhouse ith grounds to the right .in front of them a i think there was a row of houses & behind maybe a church .very leafy trees seemed to cover the sky
My girlfriend at the time they had a house in Norfolk somewhere near Thetford same thing One pub 3 houses does that constitute a village down there

We won 2-0, though. Is it still such a painful memory? Oh, and we beat you 4-0 at home.

Since he had a few stinkeroos for us, I couldn't recommend Zak as unreservedly as I do Adam Drury (excepting some loss of pace, of course), but in between injuries, he started to look like a promising Premier League player. He could certainly hold his own in the Championship.

The speeding tickets story: he was up before the beek for failure to pay, and his lawyer pleaded "extreme hardship", as he is currently out of work, i.e., between clubs. Poor fellow--he was only on 4K a week at Naaridge. How could he be expected to come up with these fines? I gather he's currently experiencing "extreme hardship" in Barbados.

Don't know and don't care about any aggro and if my memory serves Norwich is quite a big place. You did indeed win 2 0 and 4 0 and were a very good team in those days and now!

My bitter response over Mr Fry is that I can't see what he does and if he's now a serious football fan I'm confused.

He just seems to wander round being smuggly intelligent,seeking attention while the waiting world blows sunshine up his bottom.
