been to see a mate who's a whizz in the kitchen twice recently. He did me bacon sarnies on both occasions. Sainsbury's streaky bacon; plenty of fat on show but even more flavour, little vine tomatoes and bread with seeds around the crust.Fucking marvellous.Streaky bacon, get on it.

Gore, Monmouth Street rings a very distant bell. Like I know I've been there regularly but can't see it in the addled map in my mind. is it the one that runs into covent garden?Any way that aside PIMP YOUR SARNIE!was just knocking up two bacon rolls for breakfast (i know I know, i could have been up enjoying the crisp autumn air since 6 but I wasn't so let's press on). One was the traditional, roll, butter two slices of bacon and tomato sauce. the other spinach leaves and chilli tomatos and two slices. And whilst i was doing this I was struck with a taste memory that I used to have bacon sarnies with the bacon done well and Scottish Whiskey marmalade in too. That was a great combination.
