What mountain bike did you get M?
How many bikes has everybody got?
I’ve got three, my wonderful lowest spec Bianchi steel, with down tube shifters, that I love.
My bargain bucket (save for the B17), discontinued stock, eBay special Uncle John which was going to be a cyclocross bike but kind of morphed into a bit of an all rounder by the time I’d actually built the damn thing. Mud 2s on a road bike? $20s the pair😂. And the recently acquired Rockhopper that’s heaps of fun and makes me regret been so dismissive of mountain bikes for so long.
Can happily while away an hour or six scrolling through the www contemplating another bike.
Part of my problem was I couldn’t justify spending a big chunk of money on myself while the kids were in school. I don’t really think I’d have a problem doing so now. When I bought the Bianchi it wasn’t the bike I wanted but it was half the price. It was the cheapest road bike they made and the second cheapest bike in the store at the time.
