She always says I’m calmer and happier after I’ve been on the bike. I sometimes think she confuses calm with knackered.

Saw a couple in the train station the other day, probably in their twenties, touring bikes and panniers. Most likely headed upstate somewhere. I thought to myself, ‘They get it.’ Compared to the knobhead I was at their age… Arh well.
