Transmission was interesting. I’d seen the New Dawn Fades play a year or so ago and enjoyed the actors’ performance of JD numbers. Good musically and top notch entertainment wise. This was different. They were old blokes and lady, just playing the songs very well. But alas, sadly, it wasn’t very entertaining. I hate to be ageist, and it goes against my train of thought pre-gig, but the singer was bald and the bass player looked as if he was worrying about the winter heating allowance. So, I was thinking it would’ve been better to stay in and watch the excellent documentary again, but I may be being overly cynical.
