oneallanclarke Spotted this poster while walking through a subway station. On my wife’s birthday. What more could a girl want?
oneallanclarke king_of_the_slums Have you got a link for tickets? I had a search but couldn’t find one, which is odd. I saw OYA supporting Kikagaku Moyo in my last pre-pandemic concert. Just the latter part of their set but what I saw was really good.
Anchor Thousand Yard Stare Oct 21st in Brum and The Men They Couldn't Hang in December - the 3rd. Ian Prowse the 11th Dec in the pool.
otis Anchor im going to see if that thousand yard stare is anywhere else. I liked them back in the day. I thought you was seeing prowse in Appletreewick?
Anchor otis I'm seing him there as well! Although looking a tad iffy due to my TT at work - teaching till 4.30 on that day so getting to Skipton may be an ask from Halesowen. You want them? Thousand Yard Stare only a handful of dates. New album out soon which sounds pretty good - maybe a bigger tour then.
king_of_the_slums oneallanclarke sorry mate missed this.. https://t.pia.jp/pia/ticketInformation.do?eventCd=2231987&rlsCd=002
Anchor Chrissie Hynde at the Trades. Not for me. I'll try the Hare and Hounds but not holding out much hope. It's a tiny venue.
Jon Echo And The Bunnymen in town tonight. I can’t work up any enthusiasm for anything much lately though.
Under-the-ground Off to see house of love next week. The new album is very good. Might appeal to some one
Djpekingman Tonight, somewhere in Murcia... VISOR FEST 2022 SÁBADO 17 DE SEPTIEMBRE James, Teenage Fanclub, Lightning Seeds, Australian Blonde, David Kano, Kutxu Dj y Alesa Dj Forecast big fuck-off killer storms all night!
Under-the-ground Suede in Bristol for an afternoon matinee show. Basically fired through the new album. Fucking brilliant in a lot smaller venue. Richard Oakes guitars were supersonic loud. Like watching magic. Still one of the best live bands about
Jon Under-the-ground Afternoon shows, there’s a great idea. Suede are touring with Manic Street Preachers over here in November. I bet they’re night time shows though. Know your audience people.
Jon Foxy_Dread I was looking at Spiritualized for Saturday but it would be the fat end of $200 (that’s without drinking) if I went. Maybe if we still lived in the city? Once I’m home I’m not bothered for going out again more often than not.
Odd_Job Jon Hopkins at Howard Assembly Rooms tonight as part of Leeds International Festival. Sarto for scran beforehand.
Under-the-ground House of love, supported by Pete Astor. £25 for a ticket & money well spent. Peter Astor played I almost prayed & his new stuff sounded good as well. Chadwick has got rid of terry bickers for some reason & the new band are a right bunch of odd balls. But they played great. The new album is cracking & sounded spot on live.
Jon Under-the-ground Chadwick has got rid of terry bickers That’s a bit weird. £25 to hear I Almost Prayed live, money well spent. 👍
