Travis_Bickle Flaneur I can’t remember when I started regularly saying “jeez, look how beautiful that is”, when in amongst nature. I think we probably did say tha sometimest. It was just that we convinced ourselves that the pubs, clubs, shops etc were better for us at the time. I remember a load of us going camping in the Lakes when we were 16. We walked up a massive hill (no idea what it was but it must have been near Ambleside). We sat having a cig at the top and talked about how amazing it was. But then went to the pub. And probably didn't go back to the countryside for months. I think we now have more access to other places now. That's to do with money mainly I guess. I didn't have a car until my 30s.
Foxy_Dread I always appreciated the countryside growing up in Halifax/Northowram made it easy to do so. At a young age my ambition was to own the Shibden Valley.

oneallanclarke Upper deck of the 590 from Hebden Bridge to Halifax, listening to Hex Enduction Hour while eating a pork pie
Travis_Bickle Not long back from Floodlit at Fountains Abbey. It was middle-class central, never seen so many Rab gillets, but really good all the same. Our Jim had his first Burrito. He's a fan.
Loose_Lips Vegas. Gaming show. Currently sat around our slot machines that are all fucked with everyone losing their shit. The bar beckons. Maybe a little Blackjack.
