Hopefully with rest of them on another forum. Left the dregs of this one behind.

Nothing wrong with dregs, I like a pint of mild.

No problemo, totally offay with the need to do a man of the people a la Tony Benn. Cultural empathy in action, sir - you're a natural.
Wedgy though an intellectual was hardly a man of the people. I do not consider myself a man of the people, I'm sure as shit not posh though. HK is where I live currently, I have also lived in Tokyo and used to weekend in Milan whilst living in London. Most of my time in London - 20 years _ I spent living in the east end which wasnt so hip in the late eighties. I was born in Dewsbury and from the age of 1 until 10 grew up on reclaimed colliery land in Bulwell Nottingham. All this shit about what you do or where you are defines who you are is wank. I have known miners and peers who where fine people and loads in between. I have also known many of all classes that were utter cunts. There are plenty of popped collar rugger buggers out here but there's plenty of well adjusted people as well. There is also of course the locals who the only people I've seen bargain harder are the Bedouin. I like it here, I like the people and the international shit. I hope the locals get a result, they deserve one.
Good lord, a polymath! How marvelous, seems you’re multicultural as well – Nottingham!! If you can deal with that kind of adversity, you’re the man for us!! Lets all retake Honkers for queen and country, collar up, they’ll love it!! I will have a few bright shiny baubles sent over so you can wow the coolies with sophistication (just practice getting the union jack up the right way round, there’s a good chap). And before long you’ll even know the names of some of your best friends.

God save the queen!!!
The Hong Kong Chinese would love, LOVE! us to retake them. They hate the mainlanders. But hey I'm just basing my analysis on living here and talking to the Hong Kong Chinese, I'm sure you must have a better perspective from West Yorkshire.

No big deal is it.
Its only a forum for christ sake...not like it's real life or anything.

People post or they don't and fuck all wrong with taking a break once in a while..done it myself a few times, depends on whats happening with work or at home innit?

Usually they all drift back...why wouldn't they? (apart from the twitterholic clique brigade that is).

albert_herbert_hawkins

They might just have fucked off for a rest as loads come on looking for an off. I clearly have some anger management issues and I'd say I'm not alone. Though both myself MOL and Foxy have been at it I rather like their input. I have and had at a couple of others on here and apologised privately. As for Gore we should refer to him using his full title, "Gore - font of all knowledge" much as he might punch you in the kidneys he is always outstandingly referenced. And where's Pat? homeless and at large?

Djpekingman

Cuts - wherefore art thou?

Sunset_&_Vine

Maybe people need to opt out of the intense, high paced lifestyle choice that is OMJ, once in a while. I've only been on a couple of weeks, and am already contemplating steroids.

Superb - David Haigh trading his phone cards for internet use, do a spot of Albert baiting. Shouldn't be allowed.

Yeah, where has he disappeared to ?

AHH, wherefore art thou?

albert_herbert_hawkins

Been in Leeds since early Jan. Mum is in the hospice and has been since about eight days after my arrival in early Jan. she is unlikely to see next weekend, my brother is a mes as is the sister in law. I'm up and down. Going through stuff at the house which is tinged with sweet joy over some of the things she has kept. Other things just just have me bawling. Wheatfields and Bluebird great. Leeds social services stunningly incompetent, I can't discuss it with them as I'd end up in court. To cap it all I'm off the booze by order of the doc - hell of a time to give up drinking. Read Harvest's post which was a help to me and my nomination for post of the year .

Harvest

Sorry to hear that Albert, try and keep your chin up as much as is possible.

Djpekingman

All the best AHH - keep strong fella while those around you flounder..

Sorry to hear that AHH.

Seems 2015 hasn't started well for a few on here.
