Went for a run earlier, first in maybe 18 months. Decided I need to get back into it. Just did ten minutes to start with and felt rusty and blowing a bit. I know I know I need to build up again so need to start slowly.

Another ten mins tonight, felt mildly better which I guess is what's meant to happen. Slowly but surely.

Just back from Biarritz... ran quite a lot including a spontaneous 10k with a little crew down there that raised an extra 50 euros for the Get Lost homeless and food bank kitty.

My knee is fucked. Went under me the other day on a run. Managed to keep going but it's been paining ever since and no real sign of improvement. Even hurts walking the dog. Ffs

I've been on the push iron instead.

My right knee sometimes goes during TKD or Jiu Jitsu, but it seems fine whilst running. I think it's because I'm running in one plane, as it were. It's the side and twisting movement that knocks is out of line. Hope it won't stop me getting my second black belt. I'm pretty determined that it won't.
