Travis_Bickle Conversely I have that shit feeling when you wake up feeling like you had a skinful but all you had was a couple of fingers of Havana Club Anejo. Sinuses feel like they've been pepper sprayed overnight, which may be hayfever related or may just be that they're fucked - they certainly don't like alcohol these days.

So I'm mooching around trying not to think about the game but thinking about the game, wondering if I'll ever be able to not give a shit about this sort of thing.

Sunday - looking forward to this. Off to Notts to see child two. We have tickets for an all day festival in the city - tons of bands in loads of venues and the PO final at 4.30.

I then have a week off. Yay.

Harvest Certainly is. I think it’s great. Kids’ acting usually gets right on my nerves because they try too hard. But this lot are excellent. Adults are well represented by the likes of Ryder and Modine.

Not a right lot planned. Took my missus to Wakey this morning as she had to have a wisdom tooth out. It had broken off and they're specialists there apparently. She's all sorted but sore. Continuing that theme I went to the hygienists this afternoon, that was fun in a Marathon Man kind of way. Tonight me and the boy are going out to grab a burger as this day of dentistry and little else happens to be my birthday and I've done shag all to celebrate so a bit of grub and I've got a few Paulaners to get through.

Bit more decorating, gardening and generally fannying for the rest of the weekend. Watch the match tomorrow and raise a glass to my dad if the 'Pool do it.

cordshoes I'm off with a Brazilian who lived there for 15 years and her sister still lives there after 30 years so it's unlikely I'll have any say on where we go😂 I have been told we are off on a 5 hour cruise up the Douro to a vinery for a wine tasting and then back on an old style train
