Flaneur Ooft 🤓 What kind of audio system do use @Renatino - classic hi-fi or convenience kit through bluetooth/airplay? Get a photo up lad!
Flaneur You laying it out like it's shown, i.e. speakers on your table? If so, try and get as much space as you can between the turntable and its closest speaker, amplifiers are less sensitive than turntables.
Flaneur Cool, something like this? https://www.wayfair.co.uk/furniture/pdp/trent-austin-design-louisiana-plus-turntable-stand-audio-cabinet-u003969420.html
Flaneur Reggie_Perrin That's how they craftily sell 'em Reg. Then people are shocked when they see the reality. Through doing all those hi-fi shows with Wharfedale, I can dress the cables and hide a lot from view. Cable ties and sticky sided velcro. What nobody see, nobody knows 🙂
Travis_Bickle Jon our Jim was mystified. Had me on Google explaining how vinyl works. The other half said 'you're going to buy loads of fucking records now, aren't you?' She knows me so well.
Travis_Bickle Well one bonus of vinyl already is that I'm not skipping tracks like I do with streaming. Any suggestions for cleaning cloths etc? Are Calotherms still a thing? Those ones that came in a plastic packet.
Flaneur I have this: https://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/audioquest-original-anti-static-record-brush And this: https://petertyson.co.uk/milty-zerostat-3-antistatic-gun I'm getting this over the next couple of months: https://petertyson.co.uk/pro-ject-vc-e-compact-record-cleaning-machine I have this, and once I get the above, and if you ever were in Cheshire, I'd give you this: https://www.richersounds.com/pro-ject-spin-clean-system-mk-ii-yellow.html
