Rudi I still think Niall is one of the best writers currently operating on these shores. Broken Ghost is fucking brilliant, a modern masterpiece. All of his stuff - Wreckage, Stump, Runt, Kelly & Victor, all brilliant. He's influenced loads of people.
Anchor Kevin_Stapleton I started this but gave up. Felt a bit ponderous. I need to revisit. Just finished this. Enjoyable enough and a great cameo from De Pefell. Doubt I'll trouble the others in the series.
Kevin_Stapleton Under-the-ground It's probably an age thing but I found the relentlessness of the drink and drug use wearying at times, FFS just have an early night mate... But I loved the way he gradually built up these characters, seen from multiple angles, over the course of the book.
Cooley For someone who used to read like a madman, I’m really letting the side down here. I’ve become a slave, not to the rhythm, dear friends, but to my Apple iPhone. I’m a phone cunt. Change is needed.
Jon Cooley The smart phone has destroyed my attention span. I reckon I’ve squandered at least a year of my life to shite on the www. Used to read a book or two every week. These days I struggle with four or five pages then wonder what I’ve just read. Read two and a half books so far this year and that’s me making a conscious effort to read more.

Bod This was a good read, brought back a lot of memories when growing up in the 70,s and 80,s. A lot of amusing side notes in his stories, pretty funny.
otis Bod what was that one about the kid from Garforth. That was funny as fuck. Or was this book it ?
