The Jerry Lee Lewis book certainly isn't 'the greatest rock n roll biography ever written' as the cover claims. It may have been 40 years ago when it appeared. It is a great read though if a little disjointed. It has a biblical theme running throughout and Jerry Lee is portrayed as some sort of son of Satan. The latter third makes for sad reading, an alcoholic, addicted to pills - marriages, divorces, guns, debts. He also had to bury two young sons. I'm surprised he's still alive today.
