Mitaman Not the experience I had! Coach station chaotic at best. A crumbling slab of concrete.
Had booked tickets via 12go. Got a text the night before saying go to desk 18 at 8.50 and do NOT talk to anyone else or buy other tickets from anyone. It's a scam.
As we got out the taxi we were descended on by hoardes of men insisting we needed other tickets. Found the desk and no cunt there. We were early though. Found a cafe in the station and had a mint tea. The owner started manhandling the guy sweeping up and they had a fight. Then the owner started on some kid sleeping and punched him. The kid scuttled off. Fucking hell. Tremendous entertainment. Eventually a bloke who looked liked he'd been dug up found us and took us to the coach. Went to put my bags in the hold and the driver wanted 200dhm so told him to fuck off. Got on with the bags. The coach was advertised as AC so I guess the one window light he opened covered that. Everything was broken. Seats sliding off. Bits of metal hanging off. Easily the most uncomfortable three hours of my life.
Excellent stuff! Slimming it with the locals.
In Essasouira now. Wow. So different. Calm. Cooler.
Have had a few hair em scare em taxi rides to a supermarket and a lovely lunch.
It feels like a tremendous place.
Have found a hotel with day passes 3k away that looks ace.
Riad is lovely but no real outside space that is a shame. However right in the Medina so to be expected I guess.
