Websters on Bradford Rd. Idle, never seen a special like it. I swear it was bigger than that beast of bradford rat the Sun made up. Fucking huge slab of haddock and great taste. Batter wasn't as crispy as some might like but I thought it was spot on Lass serving on had great jaspers too

Went to the chippy last night on a visit to my mum and dads and I must say I was a little disappointed with my purchase. The fish had skin on when fried and the chips were bland. I think I’m spoiled a bit living where I do as all the chippys round here seem to be in competition so no room for slack work – ie no skin on the fish and chips fried in beef dripping which makes the difference.3/10 - Barr's lager shandy grabbing most of the points.

Used to go to 'Ritz' fisheries on 5 lane ends in Wortley but the chips started to get really 'bitty and hard' so switched to Pudsey Road fisheries which (for me) are the best around 'Armley,Wortley,Farnley' etc...(where i live know) £3.45 for Fish & Chips and the fish is always fresh out of the pan (infact its my fish & chip night tomorrow night (Thursdays) :cool:

Took Harvests advice ( where is that man?)and tried the chippy at the top of Cherwell Hill yesterday. Only had a fish, but he cooked it to order lightly battered. Best I've had for a while, shit breadcakes though.
