I’m in a job centre somewhere discussing my options with the work coach. Nothing particularly odd about that.
What made it strange is that said work coach was (the late) footy commentator, Tony Gubba. Tony fucking Gubba? What’s all that about?

I just dreamed that I came on a a substitute for England against Japan in the final of the women’s World Cup, with the score at 1-1. I set up the winning goal, although was tactically subbed off myself before the end. I’d only been there as a spectator so I was surprised and delighted to take part.

I had returned to prison to resume my old job and one of the lads in there had my deceased Jack Russell in his cell, only he'd dyed his hair bright red. This little dog with a mop of vivid red locks, like a bizarre Rasta/dreadlock wig. Woke up sweating like a pig and rather upset. Very odd.

I was mending a door with John Le Mesurier. I don't know what was wrong with it but it needed mending. It was a scruffy looking door in a back yard much like the one in Rising Damp. It was a two man job. John Le Mesurier was wearing a dark blue boiler suit and was a bit grumpy as we couldn't get it fixed. The paint and varnish were peeling. John Le Mesurier went off to get some tools and when he returned I'd managed to sort the problem. Then we both walked off as we knew we'd finished, it felt like we were going to the next job like some sort of handymen. Me and John Le Mesurier.

I was walking along with the queen and we were next to a swimming pool. I could see her getting closer to the pool and worried she was going to fall in. I kept thinking that I can't go to grab her as you're not allowed to touch the queen. She's getting closer and closer and I'm getting really stressed now as I can see her going at any second. She's wearing the full queen coat, hat, handbag combo. Then in slow motion she starts to fall and halfway through, regally nods at me to grab her before she hits the water. I reach out and grab hold of her wrists and haul her back. She thanks me and I start apologizing about being a member of the public and touching a royal etc and she waves a dismissive hand and we carry on our walk which is now taking place in the countryside.
