And Leeds isn't exactly the best place to come and play yourself into form, even on this board of reasonable types we've seen a few players written off after a few games. After three games it would be 'Johnson is shite', and if we didn't win all them three games heaven help him we'd be accusing him or the policy of signing loanees of wrecking the pre-christmas form.

Sorry, I wasn't disagreeing just adding my two-peneth. Hopefully he can hit the ground running and look to revive his career at ER, surely they'vce been keeping him reasonably fit at City. Beyond the bank balance players must realise the potential for worlwide adulation at Leeds. I think with Schmeichel, O'Brien, Johnson, McCormack/Becchio we would have a very good spine. Don't think we've been able to say that for years.

The Dunne thing does seem to have some truth to it. But putting in a low bid for a loan deal is a long way from securing it. Houllier wants him out asap, huge fall out. I'd guess Celtic [who want him] or mid-premiership club will be his destination. Shame, he'd be a superb signing. Sorted his life out about 6 years ago and is actually bloody quick and scores goals. Would eat this league for breakfast.

Dunne would be a superb signing but I would not have thought Villa would be willing to pay much of his massive wages if he went on loan and you would have thought half the prem would want him.

As for O Brien, to lose him at this stage would be a bit of a disaster despite the other day.

You always seem to have a good bit of inside info Mr Mol, do the club expect/want O' Brien to stay ?

I want to type In Grayson We Trust to piss you off, but I can't bring myself to do it.

The one thing I don't want us to do is bring in another forward can't see the point, unless Villa is fed up at Barca and has always dreamed of playing for a Leeds from back when he was a young lad tending the donkey ready in preparation for the Tower of Donkey.
